Story progression.

Robert McKee in his book Story explains: A story must not retreat to actions of lesser quality or magnitude, but move progressively forward to a final action beyond which the audience cannot imagine another.

Paul sent me the link to Danny Macaskill’s latest video here. Take a look and you’ll see the simple yet effective story progression. There is a definite beginning, middle and end. Watch as Danny’s trick’s get progressively more difficult until he pulls off the sickest trick of all .

Filmed and edited for Channel 4 ‘s documentary Concrete Circus.

Aside: This guys has broken his collarbone 3 times just like me. Mind you this time I was just riding straight on flat road – how sad is that? I did hit a weird bump though…
